Article Processing Charges (APC)

The Iraqi Society for Microbiology applies the following Article Processing Charges (APC):

 Authors from Iraq:

150,000 IQD or 100 USD per accepted manuscript.

Authors from Outside Iraq:

No publication fees (Free of charge).

APC Discount Policy

A 40-50% APC waiver is granted to verified members of the Iraqi Society for Microbiology.

Eligible authors must:

  • Provide their official membership ID number.
  • Contact the Editorial Office via email to confirm eligibility before the final billing stage.

Payment Method

APC payments for authors within Iraq must be made via Super Qi transfer using the following details:

After completing the transfer, authors must:

  • Upload a clear copy of the payment receipt.
  • Or send the receipt to the official journal email for verification.
  • Email: Support@iraqijmbs.org

The manuscript will proceed to the final publication stage only after payment confirmation.

Important notes

  • IJMBS does not charge any submission fees.

  • The APC is requested only after acceptance and does not influence editorial or peer review decisions.

  • No additional administrative or processing fees are applied beyond the stated APC.
