Article Processing Charges (APC)
The Iraqi Journal of Microbiology and Biomedical Science (IJMBS), ISSN (3135-6249), is an Open Access journal. To support the publishing workflow and maintain high-quality editorial operations, the Iraqi Society for Microbiology applies the following Article Processing Charges (APC) only upon the final acceptance of a manuscript:

Authors from Inside Iraq: 150,000 IQD (approximately 100 USD) per accepted manuscript.

Authors from Outside Iraq: No publication fees (Free of charge).
APC Waiver and Discount Policy
A 40% to 50% APC waiver is granted to verified members of the Iraqi Society for Microbiology. To apply for this waiver, eligible authors must:

Provide their official and valid society membership ID number during the submission process.

Payment Method
Clear payment instructions and bank/transfer details will be provided by the Editorial Office exclusively after the formal acceptance of the manuscript. After completing the transaction, authors are required to:

Upload a clear copy of the payment receipt through the OJS dashboard.

Note: The manuscript will proceed to the final production and online publication stage only after payment confirmation.
Important Financial Transparency Notes

No Submission Fees: IJMBS does not charge any manuscript submission or evaluation fees.

Editorial Independence: APCs are requested only after peer review and formal acceptance. Financial transactions have absolutely no influence on editorial or peer-review decisions.

No Hidden Charges: No additional administrative, cover design, or processing fees are applied beyond the stated APC.
